Our History
Haiti Joy Hope, Inc. (HJH) informally began in 2018 as a ministry to vulnerable children in the heart of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. HJH was initiated in Bev May’s heart following 7 years of leadership involvement with Haiti Missions through a church in Missouri, and including over 20 trips to this deeply impoverished but beautiful island country.
Haiti Joy Hope began to become a reality, receiving status as a Non-Profit Corporation in May of 2019 through the State of Missouri, and then 501(c)(3) status in June of 2020.
