(Above) In April 2021, a special Feeding Program began for all of the students, providing a much-needed hot meal each school day. Haiti Joy Hope is privileged to stand alongside Source de la Grace in making this a reality, blessing many families in their community.
School & Feeding Program
Education is hope in Haiti! Source de la Grace’s PreK-11 School was previously funded utilizing a small tuition paid by families who could do so, as well as operational funding from a church in Missouri and from Haiti Joy Hope. Starting in the 2020-2021 school year, Haiti Joy Hope began providing this basic funding on its own, allowing the school to remain open, since the conditions in Haiti are such that many cannot afford even the small tuition for their child(ren) to attend school. A quality education, which is Christian-based, is provided through this school to church families, families within the surrounding area, and to the children living at the Children’s Home.
A second monthly sponsorship began in April 2021 - a Feeding Program (Cantene Programme) for the students of the school. A hot nutritious meal is provided each school day for each student, augmenting what their families can provide (which has sadly declined greatly due to the current humanitarian crisis in Haiti).
