Haiti Joy Hope Annual Silent Auction

The public was invited (and is invited for a Sunday afternoon in the Fall) to experience a few hours of Haiti, via video and photos and words shared by Founder and Executive Director, Bev May. Many items were donated to be auctioned from around the country and world, including crocheted items created by some of the kids at the Children’s Home, special artisan jewelry, paintings, photographs, creative wood pieces, etc. It was a joyful atmosphere as people visited, bid, ate snacks, and bid some more! The generous bids and donations totalled more than enough to cover the first semester of operational costs for the School, as well as a portion of the second semester. For our first big fundraiser as a ministry, we felt it went really well! We are so grateful for all those who participated!! In 2021, Over Flow Coffee joined the event, serving Haitian coffee. In 2022, the Silent Auction will feature a Coffee Bar, serving Haitian coffee and other special drinks (hot & cold), as well as other refreshments for your pleasure as you enjoy bidding on the many awesome items in the Silent Auction, visiting with friends and experiencing a little bit of Haiti!
